About Us

The PROFACT Network is a network of independent — and often interdependent – coaches, consultants and human service providers.
We share one objective:
To assist our corporate and private clients in maximising their own creative resources in achieving their own preferred future. We are committed to work with our clients according to their own pace and specific needs.
We ensure effectiveness by building on what already works for them, exploring what enables them to reach their desired outcomes.
PROFACT is distinctive in that we collaboratively design interventions to meet the immediate and long term needs of our clients in regular small-group settings (safe spaces) to allow the individual participants to participate freely.

Dr Elta Boshard
CEO, Principal Consultant, Coach and Trauma Practitioner
I was the firstborn (1942) and enjoyed my parents’ love and adoration for two years before my brother’s arrival. After I left school I first became a nurse and got married. We had three sons - my pride and joy. The marriage lasted 15 years. My sons and I moved to Pretoria. Here I worked hard, my sons too. It was in Pretoria that I met my current husband, Arian. We got married 28 years ago. Arian and I greatly enjoy life, work and travelling. Our grandchildren are our pride and joy – all 11 of them!
I started my career path as a music teacher -and gradually became a continuous learner – from one degree to another… My PhD (2003) entitled “Enabling Human Service Providers to Manage Compassion Fatigue through Pastoral Practices” captures the essence of some of the work I have done over the past thirty-odd years.
I am mostly enthusiastic about life, finding opportunities where problems grow, cultivating accelerated learning and improving active listening — at work and in relationships.
Active Listening helps all people think more clearly, work together better and build more effective relationships. Better listening means improved effectiveness and decreased distress. Listening is the cornerstone of real communication and conflict resolution.
As an Executive Team Coach and Independent Facilitator of change management interventions, I work with wonderful people. I thoroughly enjoy – even excel – in both facilitating group-work by coaching teams to developm thier best – based on individual strengths.
